Vision Microsite Blog Created

After much deliberating and talking a Vision microsite has finally been created to talk about the development and benefits of the product from Evolve.

Why now?

After the very first version of Vision was created in 2005 we have been working alongside various users to help promote and create CRM in an online environment. As part of this we have recently been developing an XML / AJAX interface to Vision to allow it to fully integrate into existing CMS solutions and community sites and it was decided the best was to log a record of this and other achivements of Vision was its own blog... so here it is!

Tell me more..

Whilst Vision is  quick and easy to use one drawback is the URL you go to a Vision specifc URL and the interface to view, amend and create surveys is all managed by the Vision appliction itself.

Evolve have developed the first version of their XML API which act similarly to a Web Service allowing XML representations of surveys to be returned such that clients can use XSLT to control the look and feel of their surveys. The results can be sent back to Vision by XML, or a direct postback - whatever is easiest.

How do I use this...

Currently the API is in testing, however if you are interested in helping to develop or test the current functionality then please e-mail it@e-rm.org

We expect the first relase to be available from the end of July.
